I’m Chris Boyd, founder of Fat Tire Narnia. Going back over 20 years ago a close group of mountain biking friends of mine would gather each summer in a new place, looking for, searching for Fat Tire Narnia. We’d camp, ride trails and laugh all while connecting with our deep love for mountain biking. We were in search of adventure, and friendship and we would find that in spades each year on these advantages we began to call Fat Tire Narnia.

I named my company after those adventures because it connected deeply with the passion we all have and had for adventuring on trails with our mountain bikes.

Biking shaped my life, taking me from being a pack-a-day smoker to a semi-pro adventure racer and now to someone who has given up the racing and replaced it with a combination of:

I live in Winter Park, Colorado and before I had the fortune of moving here full-time in 2022 I lived on the front range of Colorado. I would often ride my mountain bike from Lafayette, Colorado where I was living at the time up and over the Continental Divide to Winter Park. The connection with history, nature, and adventure was always rich on that route and I decided to share my best curations via this trip with a select few.
